Glutathione

Glutathione

One of The Most Powerful Antioxidants In Your Body!

Glutathione is there to mop up free radicals, reactive atoms in your body. If free radicals are not neutralised, they damage cells throughout your body, causing them to age faster and damaging their DNA. Your DNA!

The body needs a constant supply of antioxidants to switch off free radical damage. Most antioxidants are only available from food, but glutathione is made in your body by your liver.

If there is not a continuous supply of glutathione due to your body not making enough or you using it up too rapidly, you will start to feel fatigued, depressed, develop autoimmune and cardiovascular diseases.

Free radical damage is the heart of all cellular aging and chronic disease:

Cancer, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, ALS, Multiple Sclerosis, ADHD/ADD, bipolar, depression, erectile dysfunction, strokes, obesity and weight issues, hypertension, allergies, asthma, arthritis, gum disease, pancreatitis, hyper and hypothyroidism, Diabetes, Infertility, Inflammatory skin conditions, Intestinal/gut issues and accelerated aging.

There are many causes for low glutathione – eating too many fast foods, fried and grilled meat and foods, stress, poor sleep, pollutions, alcohol and smoking, infections and simply growing older, as you make less glutathione as you age.

Boosting Glutathione:
  • Eating as many coloured vegetables as you can. The most important being your green vegetables, especially, broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, kale, herbs and all leafy greens. These vegetables boost and work the glutathione pathway in the liver and allows for better detoxification.
  • Making my Superpower Antioxidant Smoothie and Herb Smoothie. You will readily absorb your nutrients from that rather than an inefficient tablet. Remember to always add a fat like avocado or an oil to activate the nutrients and allow for absorption.
  • Exercise as much as you can. If you can’t do a long session, start with 5 minutes 3 x per day and get your heart rate up and build muscle.
  • Getting enough sleep.
  • Making sure you’re getting enough vitamin C in food form, B vitamins, selenium and liver herbs (fresh or in teas) like dandelion, yarrow and milk thistle.

If you rushing to slow down the aging process, why spend a fortune on Botox, fillers, face lifts, butt lifts and expensive creams, drink your green smoothie every day (500ml per day minimum), exercise, stabilise your blood sugar levels and these are the ways to improve your skin. You will look years younger!
